I've had this very nice small wall calendar featuring a Gil Elvgren pin-up girl, for about 30 years, It's been packed away and kept from direct sunlight for as long as I've had it, and the colors are really vibrant, especially the blue background. This calendar and print are guaranteed to be authentic and original to 1946. It is NOT an Asian knock-off or reproduction. Note that this calendar was not used when new, as it still has the January monthly page and all of the subsequent 11 months behind it.
Note there is slight water damage visible on the back, but the damage is barely noticeable from the front. There is also a hanging hole at the top, but the paper has a tear from the hole to the left top edge, so it cannot be hung from the hole anymore [who would risk it anyway?] That tear can be repaired by a paper conservator, or left alone as it is still complete and most people wouldn't even notice the tear.
