Description

This sale is for 2 different paper items featuring very well-known pin-up artists;

The first item is a near mint 1948 ink blotter, featuring a lovely lass with a tea kettle, artwork by Earl Moran. The saying just below the kettle is just as lovely: "When Polly puts the kettle on, if you'll say pretty please, she'll step into this special gown, that she wears just to teas". Blotters with the monthly calendar were often given out at service stations, a new one each month, so the customer had to keep coming back for the latest calendar!

The second item is a circa 1950s note pad with a full color litho print of a voluptuous young lass riding astride a newly made and freshly painted dog house. The caption says "Well Built", and the artist's signature is Gil Elvgren. This note pad has some wear and condition issues, and is far from mint. That said it's still a hard print to find today.

These are both coming out of my 50 year collection of erotica and pin-up stuff. Sold as a pair. Price includes free shipping in the USA 48 states only. Please examine the photos carefully, as they are sold as-is, and not returnable.
