Description

Coming out of my erotica vault is a hard to find Esquire Magazine desk top pinup calendar with a full set of 12 different pinup prints, Jan thru Dec 1952. Almost all of the surviving early desktop calendars only have the December page inside, as the other pages, once the month was over, were discarded in the trash. Very few complete sets remain today.

These are signed Al Moore. Mr. Moore was a very prolific artist and illustrator. and became Esquire's principle pinup illustrator when Varga [later Vargas] jumped ship over to Playboy in 1952, when these were created.

The main frame has no advertising along the bottom, so it's likely an exclusive gift offered to Esquire Magazine subscribers. Each monthly page has "Copywrite 1950 by Esquire, Inc." on the bottom left.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE OFTEN SOLD AS INDIVIDUAL PAGES ON FEEBAY FOR ABOUT $10 EACH, THAT'S $120 WITHOUT THE CALENDAR STAND! I don't like dealing with the thieves over at feebay, so hence they are available from me here at a more reasonable price.

Price includes free shipping in the USA 48 states only.
