Description
At least she can keep her spirits, and her stockings, up. Most versions of this card leave the line after "into" blank, but some examples have "Oklahoma" printed in, as with this one. This was actually sent from New Mexico, franked for a soldier at Hobbs Field, an Army Air Corps training center, in 1943 or thereabouts (it was pasted into a scrapbook, and much of the mucilage remains.)
