If I had no experience walking dogs, I would ask where a puppy that small stored all of that, but this is one of their superpowers.  The old stereotype of the working girl walking a dog was more often seen in the city than along the waterfront, but whatever works.  Every copy of this postcard I have seen has that smear across the word "Exxcuse", so it was something in the printing press.  A postcard of the late 1930s or thereabouts, never mailed or messaged
