Director Brescia was a hack filmmaker who took Italian cinema into the furthest reaches of cheezy sleaze. In 1979, he hired Sirpa Lane to reinterpret her role from Walerian Borowsczyk's THE BEAST, this time for an outer space thriller. The revised script puts an interstellar crew on a mission to investigate a planet controlled by a computer which has reportedly created a brutal monster.

But the real story here is THIS print. For many years, rumors of a hardcore version have flourished in the cult world. But none of the collectors had actually unearthed a copy. The holy grail was finally discovered in the basement of a Bologna porno theater during a demolition in 2005.
