Description: This auction is for a classic vintage male nude magazine called “Dynamo” issue No. 5. It was published by Falcon Studios of San Francisco and has a copyright date of 1978 (see second photo). The entire magazine features photos of Johnny Harden, an immensely popular gay model in the late 1970s and early 1980s. You only need to see one photo to understand why! This magazine is a great collector’s item!
The magazine is full-size, approximately 8.5” x 11”. It contains 48 pages including both covers. Eight pages (including both covers) are in color, the rest are black-and-white. The inside rear cover has an advertisement for Falcon Studios.
Condition: The magazine is in fairly good condition, with normal wear from handling. Several inside sheaths are detached from the bottom staple and the two center sheaths are completely detached from both staples. However, all pages are present. There is a crease along the top right corner of the front cover (see first photo) and there is a sticker affixed to the rear cover (see last photo). There is a piece of tape at the bottom of pages 2-3 (see second photo). In spite of the flaws, the pages themselves are in good shape.
