Description: This auction is for a great vintage male nude magazine called “Jockstrap” Vol.1, No. 1. Oddly, it does not contain a single photo with a guy in a jockstrap! But it does have great photographs of classic 1960s-70s porn stars Ty Redifer and his unnamed lover and Don Peterson. It contains a photo-illustrated article about male ejaculation, including the explicit centerfold (see sixth photo). It also contains several pages of homoerotic art by Toby called “The Master.” There is no information about the publisher or year of publication, however the rear inside cover (top half missing) has an advertisement for XXX Inc. Publications of Chatsworth, CA. XXX published other similar gay magazines in the 1960s and 1970s.
The magazine is full-size, approximately 8.5” x 11”. It contains 36 pages including both covers. Four pages (including both covers and the centerfold) are in color, the rest are black-and-white. The inside back cover contains an advertisement for other homoerotic materials (top half missing).
Condition: The magazine is in good condition, with normal wear from handling. The top half of the back cover has been cut off (see last photo). However, the magazine is otherwise in very good condition.
