Coming out of my erotica vault is a hard to find Esquire Magazine desk top pinup calendar with 11 different pinup prints, Feb thru Dec 1950.
A. Varga [later Vargas when he went to Playboy in 1953] was the principle pinup illustrator for Esquire when this was created. While not signed, they are likely Varga artwork.
Note that May and June have some dirt from exposure prior to me finding this, but a good paper conservator can clean them at little expense. May page has a small tear in the right side, but this is hidden by the frame when installed. The main frame has no advertising along the bottom, so it's likely an exclusive gift offered to Esquire Magazine subscribers. Each monthly page has "Copywrite 1948 by Esquire, Inc." on the bottom left.
Price includes free shipping in the USA 48 states only.
