This is a modern postcard based on a bit of Victorian Good Girl Art, Fernand Lequesne's La Girouette (weather vane or wind vane, depending on where you went to school.) I LIKE the way she is pointing away from the word "NO", even if that is simply because French weather vanes can point Nord or Ouest (North or West, if you're busy looking at her summery garb.)
