MINT/NEAR MINT (NM) - Nearly perfect with only minor imperfections, minimal stress marks, no creases.
VERY FINE/VF - Sharp, bright clean, flat cover with almost no surface wear.
FINE (& FINE- , FINE+) Above-average, only minor slight surface wear, minimal defects. Read a few times, handled with care.
VERY GOOD (VG, & VG- and VG+) - The average used magazine, shows wear, maybe a crease, rolled spine or some discolouration, fading, minor soiling. A small piece (less than half inch) can be missing. Cover/pages may have minor tears and folds; the centerfold may be loose or detached.
GOOD (GD, GOOD+ and GOOD-) - All pages and covers is present, though maybe a small pieces missing inside. Generally creased, faded, scuffed, abraded, but still readable.
ACCEPTABLE - May have up to one full page missing or cut; covers may be missing a piece, or damaged; multiple creases; faded;
